Private Speech Therapy differs from public school therapy in several ways.

We address the needs of borderline ability students who present delayed language or articulation skills.

We address and treat medically handicapping conditions that overlap educationally handicapping conditions:
Delayed oral motor ability such as drooling, thumb sucking, uncoordinated and inconsistent speech production skills, and swallowing.

Pre-reading skills for the developmentally delayed students:
Phoneme awareness;
Phoneme segmentation;
Auditory discrimination;
Integrating visual, auditory and Oral-motor feedback

Students seen individually, so therapy can focus on areas of identified need.
